eZ Publish Summer Camp 2013 will be again organised by Netgen beginning of September: 4th to 7th to be exact. The format will be the same as last year: 3 days of learning during workshops separated in 3 tracks. Fourth day will be reserved for leisure.
Different is the content of the tracks. We will have:

Dear eZ Community,
Earlier this week I posted a blog entry trying to trigger discussion about community engagement. Some people did respond with good arguments and suggestions. At one point I suggested to make a Hangout about the topic and Peter Keung from Mugo suggested that Geoff Bentley should host it with Aleksander Farstad as special guest.

I just came across a blog post by Jeff Pots from Alfresco community which explains in general terms about a vendor-partner relationship. It can be clearly translated to eZ Community too.

Dear eZ Community,
I waited to write this post until we complete all services which were part of the participation fee. And this was done last week by eZ Systems, they sent the invite certification to all participants again (as we had some problems at the camp with the certification session). Big thanks to eZ for the effort.

Following the latest announcement from eZ that the new eZ Publish 5 will use Symfony 2 framework (most importantly HMVC frond controller and Twig template engine) we decided to tune the Summer Camp program by adding "Symfony introduction" workshop.
