We had an internal training session and in the first slide we tried to summarize the most important content model terms and relations between them.
- an object is the main content unit
- an object is of some class (type)
- a predefined datatype manages 1 piece of data
- a class has class attributes created from datatypes
- an object has versions
- an object version can have more translations
- an object has object attributes instanced according to defined class attributes
- when first published object gets a node in the node tree
- more nodes can be added later
IMO this is really important to if you want to quickly explain the eZ Publish content model.
