Designed for small companies, consultants and freelancers
Why would I want to become Community Partner?
Working with eZ Publish or related technologies? Growing a portfolio of client projects based on eZ Publish and ready to do more? We've designed a partner program specifically to meet the needs of the small or independent web application development firm. The Community Partner program may be the right level of commitment that fits your needs, or it can be a first step toward joining the more extensive Business Partner program.
What is the Difference between the Community and Business Partner programs?
- Community Partnership: a free program designed for small businesses, consultants or freelancers. This is the first step toward generating new business with the eZ Publish platform.
- Business Partnership: a commercial engagement with eZ Systems, offering a closer alignment with the eZ Systems sales channel. It is designed for companies with a focus on large enterprise projects. Learn more here: http://ez.no/Partners/Become-a-Partner
What are the benefits of Community Partnership?
Community Partnership is the natural next step for Community members delivering web and mobile development projects for clients. The program is designed to help eZ experts start and grow a business around eZ Publish, and start on a path to extended Business Partner status when the time is right.
Benefits include:
- Visibility: Listing in the eZ Community Partner Directory at http://share.ez.no/directory/companies. Community Partners are ranked by activity levels and searchable by geography. This public visibility and strong association with the eZ brand, means business. As a Community Partner you are allocated a public profile page, where your company description, contact info, references and members' listing can promote your strengths, skills and top projects.
- Free Participation in eZ Partner Day Events: All Community Partners will have access to the eZ Partner Day events. The business ecosystem gathers together regularly to network, gain first hand insight into eZ's strategy. Community partners are invited to present, take training courses, share field knowledge, and engage with eZ executives and other partners from both the Community and Business partner programs.
- Event Co-Marketing: The eZ Events Planner is open to all Community partner events – whether online or in-person. If you are hosting a user group meeting, breakfast seminar, exhibiting or speaking at a conference, we want to know. Events added to the eZ Event Planner will be promoted through our community and extended social media channels. Share your events with the entire eZ Community by submitting it here: http://share.ez.no/events
- Access to the Job Board [To be launched Q1 2012]: The eZ Community is full of highly skilled and experienced eZ Publish developers, project leaders, and designers looking for opportunities. The job board will let you quickly find expertise and accelerate project delivery. You can post your availability, skill sets and geographical coverage and attract talented experts and client opportunities projects when you need them.

What are the Qualifications for Community Partnership?
The requirements are simple for Community partner status:
- Have Company Status: Have the legal status enabling you to engage in business relationships. The program is open to freelancers and independent consultants, so there is no minimum requirement for the number employees.
- Have one production reference client using eZ Publish: Be prepared to show your expertise and success with eZ by providing the name and link to at least one reference client.
