Datatype ezselection2 or enhancedselection2?

Hello guys, I'm a bit confused between the two solutions, what is working best with a 4.4.0 installation? My problem is multilanguage translation of selection options. I can use a different ezselection attribute for each language, but I'm wandering if the problem has been solved at least!
