Calling all American, Canadian, nearby eZ Publish developers and users!

Hi all,We've seen the strength of the eZ community during our visits to Europe, but now we'd like to build up the community in North and South America. As one of the efforts towards that goal, we've started a Meetup group:http://www.meetup.com/eZ-Publish-Users-DevelopersFor now we'll be looking at organizing an event or two (which we'll post in the new events area on share.ez.no too) on the west coast of the US, but all nearby eZ community members are encouraged to join. Let's get some momentum going this year!

I can't wait to hear more from these efforts!
My boss Graham joined the meetup group tonight and suggested a meetup!
Everyone in North and South America please consider joining and supporting these meetups!
If we could think of anything that could be done that is really worth while it would have to be this ...
We can improve all of our lives, efforts and the regional communities that make up the entire global eZ Community the best way we know how ... We think we can do this best is by fostering and growing the eZ Community in our local areas / regions!

Very glad to see this North American spark, let's ignite the Americas with eZ Publish. You, Doug and other people at the origin of the initiative know you have my and eZ's full support. If i were to draw an objective concerning eZ Community meet-ups / user-groups in NA for 2012, it would be : 5 events organized. Same in Europe. 2 in APAC.
Feel free to get in touch so i can get along and help increase tenfold our footprint in the Americas.

We had a really good showing for our first call, and hope to keep the momentum going with monthly calls, in-person Meetups like the one in California in March (http://www.meetup.com/eZ-Publish-Users-Developers/events/49899932/), and other topical initiatives.

Definitely. I am not sure to be able to make it to Berkeley though.
