Here is the first, brand new build of eZ Publish Community Project for 2012. The first of a series of 12 bullets of pure innovation.

Very cool.  I especially like the addition of the remote ID info to the Details tab by Carlos Revillo.

How about the mobile detection mechanism?

Great!

I think that something broke extension ordering. Now load ordering does not work after upgrade from 2011.12 to 2012.1 ?!

Am I missing something?

Hi Sinisa,

I can't notice anything relevant in the changelog, how is the problem manifesting itself ?

Hi Nicolas,

Well on 2011.12 load ordering is enabled and my custom extension (with design and all other override stuff) is loaded and extend ezwebin extension so I have my design and functionality. After upgrade to 2012.1 (upgraded ezwebin to 1.9, upgraded ezwt to latest, cache cleared and purged) my custom extension is loaded but ezwebin pagelayot is used instead of one from custom extension.

So everything is as in 2011.12 but layout is generic (ezwebin).

Very strange!

I have been looking in github, commits, logs, issues but no clue. Had to downgrade to 2011.12 sad.gif Emoticon

Best regards,
Sinisa

Hi Sinisa,

Hi guys,

has anybody already installed 2012.1 on a production website ? If yes, would you mind providing us some feedback about performance ans stability.

Regarding the loading bug, any thoughts on a potential workaround that could make this build usable on a production site ?

Thanks,
Cheers,
Arnaud

We are a bit unsure about what caused this. Other discussion on the topic right there : https://github.com/ezsystems/ezwt/commit/e3d995bcce463279fd55db397e638385a9519392#commitcomment-940441

An idea ?

Unfortunately not. I've already had a short look at the discussion on github and the possible related commit. I will do in-depth investigations if I have some time, but please report any progress on this topic happy.gif Emoticon

Cheers,

Happened to me too but I noticed only AFTER upgrading the production copy. Fortunatelly, for me, only minor thing was broken, one CSS file (ezflow.css) was loaded that wasn't supposed to be there.

Everything else seems fine on production web for now.

EDIT: Whoops, looks like that's not really the case. Search does not work and one custom SSO extension.

Downgrading now sad.gif Emoticon
