eZ Publish 4.6 was released on November 22. Some weeks prior to the release we had also released a preview of the documentation. Please find the links to relevant new information below.

Hi Steven
Could you report this on the issue tracker? Make sure to select 'documentation'. I know Geir Arne works from the tracker when it comes to doc issues.
Thanks, Robin

Piotr,
eZ Publish Community Builds (like 2011.11) are based on the latest eZ Publish GitHub sources (currently that means builds are based on eZ Publish 4.6.x).
When in doubt download and use the latest community build!
I hope this helps ...
Cheers,
Heath

Is 4.6 available as community edition? How 4.6 relates to 2011.12?
Hi Piotr,
As illustrated on the Release Policy for eZ Publish Community Project (slide 6), the build paces is different from the Enterprise Edition one. This means that the short answer to your question is no, there is no exactly identical version of 4.6 labelled Community Project. The closest eZ CP build to 4.6 is 2011.11. It means that the kernel features proposed in 2011.11 are similar or richer than 4.6, given that the latter underwent a feature-freeze period starting approximately 2 months before its release. This also implies that 2011.11 is less stable than 4.6, this is part of the DNA of Community Project : innovation.
But may i ask you why wondered about this, so i can better orient your version choice ?
Cheers,
