Problem indexing objects with an empty ezdate attribute

Problem indexing objects with an empty ezdate attribute

Monday 09 March 2009 10:17:03 am - 2 replies

Hi all,

I'm currently in the last steps to have eZFind upgraded from 1.0beta to 2.0.0-final, but now I've discovered that every object that have an attribute of ezdate datatype, if it's empty, the object is not indexed causing a java exception in the solr engine:

Mar 9, 2009 9:23:06 AM org.apache.solr.common.SolrException log
SEVERE: org.apache.solr.common.SolrException: Invalid Date String:''
	at org.apache.solr.schema.DateField.parseMath(DateField.java:167)
	at org.apache.solr.schema.DateField.toInternal(DateField.java:138)
	at org.apache.solr.schema.FieldType.createField(FieldType.java:179)
	at org.apache.solr.schema.SchemaField.createField(SchemaField.java:93)

Any one out there have found the same problem? perhaps there is anything to do in the schema field definitions?

thanks in advance for your support!
Xavier.
