Is it possible to do it yet?
In the community changelog, I see issues with "new design" in their name being fixed, eg. issue 17106, but when I go to the list of community issues (http://issues.ez.no/IssueList.php?ProjectId=6&ClearOk=1), those are not listed...
A couple of things I have found so far:
- the call to the http://pxreg.onlineservicesas.com service via js should be at bottom of the page, as sometimes that service is down and the web page will not load
- the 'next', 'prev' buttons at bottom of main forum view should not highlight on mouseover if there are no prev/next pages. I suspect this is also true when viewing a topic thread

A new 'component' was created, named "New design - from july 2010 on", to be checked when filing an issue. Would you mind filing the two points above as issues there ?

i'm not sure if I got your intention right on this thread but here are two points from my point of view:
- Sorting on threadlists is not available
- UX-issue -> Performance/Speed
- Login on all pages

more efficient search function or something like a 'advanced search' @ share.ez.no
(the actual search is not very sympathetic in my opinion) - No private-messaging is available (and maybe not necessary)
- Move the 'Add reply'-Button to somewhere else, its so easy to erase your written text by confuse the two orange buttons (general ux-problem buttons/colours)
So feel free to answer/disucss/critize or clarify me that this thread is completely meant different

Edit: Ah now i got it. The idea is to add issues to that link from above. Once i got in the issue tracker seems to be a well structured system to collect suggestions and more. But this begins to become a kind of demanding

How about the "Contact author" link on profile pages ? It then triggers standard email exchanges, that's correct. Were you imagining something more embedded ?

Sorting on threadlists is not available
I just meant if you go to : 'eZ Community » Forums » Setup & design' it is not possible to sort threads by any column descending or ascending. Sometimes that could be useful i thought, Same capability on search results would be nice
I just mentioned private-messaging, because on most forum websites its a default functionality. But in my opinion there is no real use here. 'Direct Contact' seems to be enough.
I will post this and maybe some other issues to the issue tracker.
