eZ Find: Hidden objects in search result

Wednesday 15 May 2013 8:58:28 am - 5 replies

I have a problem with eZ Find. In my search result hidden objects appear.
I have already tried to update the search index, which did not help. We use eZ Find 2.7.0 version.
Can anyone give me a hint? Thank you.

Best Regards, Philip

Edit: One more hint:

Objects are set to "hidden" automatically by using the "unpublish" cronjob.

in the ezfind debug info, you can check if the filter on is_hidden was added...

I dont think you would see much speed here except if your use of MySQL was exceptionally high. MySQL use is fast. The use of PHP is the biggest speed drawback.

Hi Gaetano,

thanks for your reply. In my fetch there is no attribute defined that handles objects' visibilty. Default setting for "ignore_visibility" is false.

 {set $search=fetch( ezfind,search,hash(
   'query', $search_text,
   'offset', $view_parameters.offset,
   'limit', $page_limit,
   'sort_by', hash( 'score', 'desc' ),
   'facet', $defaultSearchFacets,
   'filter', $filterParameters,
   'publish_date', $dateFilter,
   'spell_check', array( true() ),
   'search_result_clustering', hash( 'clustering', false() ) )
)}

Hey Paul.

Thank you. This seems to have been the fault.
