Does anyone know if there is an IRC-channel for eZ users?
I'm probably not the only one who'd like to be able to communicate in real time with other eZ users, and maybe help out with a quik hack.
Or am I?
I have no knowledge whatsoever on how to run irc-channels, but if someone knows perhaps this could be possible?
What's your view on this?
best regards

On Freenode?
That would be something like "irc.kde.org" and #ezpublish? I think it would be cool to have a channel where crew/community/newbies could hang out. However, please understand that eZ systems can not create an official channel with free support... this would have to be a community project.

IRC-Newbie-Question:
How do i join an IRC channel?
I managed to do this once, using Chatzilla (a Firefox extension), but i'm too silly to do it again ![]()
So... Chatzilla let's me select and connect to a Network like freenode or quakenet with a mouseclick.
But, how do i join the channel ezPublish (case-sensitive?) I don't have a channel listing or so.
Thanks, Marco ![]()

You can find all nessasary information on http://www.quakenet.org
I recommend to use mMIRC on Windows.
You can get it from http://www.mirc.com
I´ve opened #ezpublish on quakenet.org but noch much activity until now.
Feel free to leave me a message.

For your information:
There is an eZ publish IRC channel on freenode, which is the "official" chat-place for a lot of open source projects. Feel free to join:
Server: irc.kde.org
Channel: #ezpublish
In average there are about 10 people online. Would be cool to see more community members and more traffic. Join and use the channel in order to help each other in realtime.

I've used the webchat at freenode twice and received good advice both times.
Channel: #ezpublish
