Online Editor can't search for image class

Using Online Editor 5.5 and the popup window for embedding an object or an image.
We can search for existing objects of any class except 'Image'. The search returns no results if we select 'Image' as the class filter, and if we select 'All' as the class filter, no images are returned in the results.
Has anyone else experienced this?
