Setting up Eclipse IDE for debugging with Ez Publish

Hi I have recently installed Ez Publish on my Localhost on a XP OS using Xampp Server. I have installed ez Publish fine. now I want to create a new extension and configure eclipse as my debugging toll and IDE. I am looking for some help on configuring eclipse for this I am particularly want help around which is the best debugger to use xdebug or zend and how to set these tools up for my dev envoirnment. thanks in advance

and related with debugging I've used one time xdebug because I found it recommended/referenced at ezpedia (http://www.ezpedia.org/en/ez/xdebug) and Lukasz Serwatka's personal website (http://serwatka.net/blog/xdebug_and_apc_on_opensuse)

Despite being for Joomla, I found http://docs.joomla.org/Configuring_Eclipse_for_joomla_development very helpful for setting up eZ Publish debugging in Eclispe using XDebug.
