we installed version 2014.11 on two servers in an folder outside of the http root and symlinked the ezpublish_legacy folder as a subfolder with the name "information" via
ln -s ../ezcms_test/ezpublish_legacy/ information
Then we started the installation. Everything worked fine so far. Then we started the clustering process, as described here:
Everything worked fine, all the images, css, js and cache files are correcty generated on the NFS, all entrys in the tables for "ezdfsfile_cache" etc. are looking fine.
But finally, when finnishing the process for clustering and purging caches, all requests to cached files and images leads to an 404 error.
Anyone got an idea? Or a suggestion on how to use legacy only in an symlinked subfolder with clustering?
We are running on PHP 5.6.23 and MySQL and tried it with an fresh install of EZ.

Sorry, of course I followed the instructions for the setup found here:
In previous versions the index_image.php, index_xxx.php etc. needet to be created, not in 2014.11 any longer?
