ezjscPacker not found error. Any ideas?

Friday 20 December 2013 4:16:25 am - 9 replies

Fatal error: Class 'ezjscPacker' not found in /opt/local/httpd-2.2.25/htdocs/ezpublish-4.3.0/extension/ezjscore/autoloads/ezjscpackertemplatefunctions.php on line 230
Fatal error: eZ Publish did not finish its request
The execution of eZ Publish was abruptly ended, debug information can be found in the log files normally placed in var/log/*

this is line 230
$ret = ezjscPacker::buildStylesheetTag( $depend,
                                                         $namedParameters['media'],
                                                         $namedParameters['type'],
                                                         $namedParameters['rel'],
                                                         $namedParameters['pack_level'] );
                    self::$loaded['css_files'] = true;
                    break;

That is the error I get when I try to browse /ezwebin_site_admin
My actual sites still work, I just cant log into them (using the simple-edit front-end) more than once, and they have no editing guis. The 2nd time it says my login is wrong. It was all good on 4.2, but that's what I get in Ezpublish 4.3.

the error logs in var show:

Dec 21 2013 10:14:12 ] [vm-webdev.xxxxxxx] eZINI:
Undefined group: 'Cache' in site.ini
[ Dec 21 2013 10:14:42 ] [vm-webdev.xxxxxxx] eZLog::writeStorageLog():

The following have all been run.

/usr/local/php/bin/php bin/php/ezcache.php --clear-tag=template ezwebin_site_admin
/usr/local/php/bin/php bin/php/ezcache.php --clear-tag=ini ezwebin_site_admin
/usr/local/php/bin/php bin/php/ezpgenerateautoloads.php --extension
/usr/local/php/bin/php bin/php/ezcache.php --clear-all --purge

Any good ideas?
Stay on 4.2?

About your other topics, you don't need an "ezjscore package", all you need is to copy the ezjscore folder that is inside the ezpublish download folder / extensions. Then you need to activate it in the site.ini settings, clear the cache and regenerate the autoloads array. Also make sure ezcomponents is installed.

Copy it to where? Copy it to extensions? Copy it from extensions?
I am not familiar with a "download folder" in my installation but I will have another look for it.

Thankyou for your reply

I ran into this too.

I think it resolved when the autoload file was regenerated and the cache was cleared, but I'm not positive.

What I remember was that it seemed to be a configuration or state issue, rather than a file issue.

Sorry I don't remember more.

Thanks for the reply Betsy. I've cleared all the caches until I am blue in the face. This problem has been on my mind for the whole of my holidays. I've spent a couple of weeks already on this. Its almost at the stage where I might have to get someone in, but there is no-longer any official expertise in NZ. Thanks again.

You need actually to check if after you run ezpgenerateautoloads your var/autload/ezp_extension.php has been actually changed, maybe your user can't override that file, try to remove it and then run the ezpgenerateautoloads autoload again.

Yeah, the file is updating. It tells me ezjscore is there as well when I run /usr/local/php/bin/php bin/php/ezpgenerateautoloads.php --extension

Thanks, I notice I do not seem to be getting notifications anymore to my forum posts. Are you?

Oh, that is bad, then I am out of ideas here without accessing the server. I am sorry.

Disabling ezjscore has fixed most of my problems, except I no longer have a text editing graphic user interface anymore. Thanks for your help.

The problem is solved. 4.3 ships with the packer hached out.
