Contact Us Form Auto Response/Reply

Hello,

I want to auto respond to people who use my contact us form.

Any idea how to implement this feature.

Thank you

I would suggest looking into using workflows for this purpose but I believe you would need to create a real object to for this to be a valid solution.

This is because if you are using the info collection system it does not have workflow support unfortunately

An alternative is to override (via extension copy) the default kernel module used for information collection and customize it to meet your needs.

I've done this myself with great success.

I've spoken about this several times in the past, here is the first example I could find quickly.

I hope this helps ...

Cheers,

Hi,

could you be more precise on what you would like to do ? What is the purpose of this email (for instance sending a recap of what the user has typed in the form) ?

Hello,

I am sorry for me coming back to the post a little bit late I was finalizing a site.

Yes. I want an email to be sent to clients how uses my feedback form. Somthing like "Thank you, we have received your email and will get back to you shortly" or something like that.

Thank you
