I have a standard site wide search using search and advancedsearch tpl from ezwebin. I created a custom search form that resides just in my support section that will search and display results within the support section. I created a custom tpl and I can view the custom search form BUT, I can't get the search terms to pass to the form.
When I do some variable tests, it seems that the search terms do not get passed/picked up in the form - any suggestions? Still using the standard search , not ezfind.
-- I have decided to just use the search parameters to filter on the section. Although it is not exactly what I wanted but it will do for now.

Can we have a look at some code? Might make it easier for to understand what's happening and why.
But if I had to guess, on the fly, I'd check what the action is set to in you custom search form. It might just send you to the standard search-file, which might not pick up on your custom fields.
