update the published date of a file

Hello,

When I update the file of the ez object "file", the "published" date is not updated.

On my website, I display the different files I have throught indexes.

The displayed date remains the original creation date and as a consequence the user can not know when the document was las updated.

Could someone tell me how to display throught an index the last published date of a file ?

Hi Fabien,

You could use the created ezcontentobject version's field : {$object.current.created}

Hi Ousmane,

thanks for your replies.

I am not programming it but I am using the edit panel of my index object.

I can only indicate the name of the attribute I wish to display.

I tried to use the modified field, but nothing is displayed when I use it.

The only field that works is "published"

hello Fabien,

your index is not a ezpublish standard template : only the published date is used.
