Hi all,
The latest version of EZ3.1 is a really great CMS and completely different to anything else out there.
However, being a new CMS, there are obviuosly things that people want but have not yet been created. So I thought that I would start a thread giving people a chance to post their needs all in one place. The ability to import a class in 3.2 should make the sharing of some of the ideas below possible
OK, I'll start with a few feature requests
Article User Rating
Just like adding user comments to a class, it would be very useful to let users also add their own ratings (Amazon style) with the comment.
Poll
I know this needs its own separate module, but would still be very useful.
Classified Ads
Letting users post say an image and 30 words for free (definable by the site admin), with a pay option for more features - kind of links in with ezTrade on that part.
Topsites
I imagine this is already possible with the current components of EZ3.1, allowing images for the links (I'm working on it at the moment), but I think would be a useful class to share with the community.
These are just ideas of the types of things people could share once importing of classes becomes possible - excellent job EZ 
Features that I don't think would be ueeful:
Advertising
Try phpAdsNew - it would be far too time consuming for the EZ team, or anyone else, to create an advertising module that could come close to this system for ad serving (not that you couldn't - it would just be a waste of resources in my opinion), as the online ad industry evolves so quickly to new formats.
Stats (apart from specific eg. search stats - which are already available)
Webalizer is great, and again I think competing would be a bit of a waste of time (I think one of the EZ team has already said this 
)
Anyone else with any ideas?
