Under this scenario:

<code>

{set search=fetch( ezfind , search ,

hash( query , $search_text,

'facet', array(

hash('field', 'myclass/myattribute/mysubattribute')

)

)}

</code>

What does mysubattribute refer to? Is it any attribute in the data_map of the related object?

Thanks,

Fraser

When I use an object relations field as a facet, the facets are separated at the spaces so I get an array of words instead of names of the related objects. For example:

"This is a related object name" gets listed as:

"This"

"is"

"a"

"related"

"object"

"name"

I think this has something to do with the content being indexed as text "_t" rather than string "_s", but I don't know how to fix it. Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Fraser

Hi Gilles!

I think I discovered a small bug in your ezfSolrDocumentFieldObjectRelation class on line 268

<code>

$finalValue = $this->preProcessValue( $field->ContentObjectAttribute->metaData(),

parent::getClassAttributeType( $tmpClassAttribute ) );

//instead of

$finalValue = $this->preProcessValue( $field->ContentObjectAttribute->metaData(),

parent::getClassAttributeType( $contentClassAttribute ) );

</code>

What do you think?

You must be right, it makes sense.

I have many other bugs to correct, and also upgrade

Is this extension needed for newer versions of eZ Find such as 2.5 and 2.6? The documentation here only talks about eZ Find 2.2.

Hi Fraser

We have the same problem. Did you get any advice on this?

Andy

I know it's been ages since the last post but we have only now found a solid solution to this problem and I thought it would be useful to direct this thread to it:
