[done] Tutorial on eZ Publish 5 bundles tutorial finished, soon published!

“Most-important extensions” topic
Engineering is expected to prioritize development of extension support based on the survey results. Feedback should be incorporated into Gilles' spreadsheet (adding a dedicated column where suited).
Action [Bertrand/Jerome] try to fill in data in the spreadsheet with time estimates

2012.10 / 2012.11
Action [Nicolas]: 2012.11 to be built asap, 2012.12 at the end of the month too.

eZ Publish 5 tutorials

  • Migration of by Damien, already done today, can be storified,
    Action[Nicolas]: ask Damien to publish this on
  • will be migrated by Jérôme also to 2012.11, can be storified in the "Interview" style,
    Action[Sylvain]: be the interviewer
    Action[CPB]: review the story
  • Build a mini eZ Publish 5 website:
    • Start from eZ Demo content ( or from own design bundle/extension? ),
    • Explain the way the design override system is working,
    • Explain how the ezp5 Twig functions are working,
    • How to override default views of content fields.
      Action[Nicolas]: check with Gaetano/Gilles/Brandon if they would like to collaborate on this.

eZ Diff Squad
Action[Robin]: Another round of follow-up
Idea[Greg]: schedule an online session with somebody from eZ Engineering to give them a view on what's happening, might be motivating. Occasion for eZ Engineering to propose fine-tunings of the Diff Squad operations according to their needs.

[no update on this meeting]
started working on spreadsheet comparing features of eZP4 and eZP5. Not yet finished.

Next steps: [all] fill in the spreadsheet; turning it into something for is going to be possible only at later time
Joint CPB forum reply on the topic of "sharing-back"
The discussion is still ongoing but there seems to be a consensus building.
Everybody agrees an official CPB response is not needed

New actions

[everyone - postponed to next meeting]: Set-up the 1st chunk of documentation to be written, based on the survey results - note: this is detailed docs for the top-5 type extensions
