Next meeting

  • 2 weeks from now, same time

1 - eZ Platform - Legacy - Admin UI

Previous status:

Discussed the blog posts and more specifically if anyone had any feedback about the legacy releases. Donat shared his preference to the legacy installation, being one through composer, which would also answer the question by Heath. Meaning we should not provided downloads.

Question from Peter Keung still to be answered.

Robin will follow up on the action of setting up maintainers; define maintainer (which access on GitHub repo, other tasks etc), and have Sylvain or anyone else setup GitHub/repo access.

2 - Status/improvement

Previous status: In favor of Stackoverflow; Jani, Donat, Ivo, Bertrand. Ivo suggests moving to Stackoverflow, and at a later point export/import into a forum on Time is the important factor, to move platforms. We should have all platforms, but move now/soon. Robin to take this with Roland to get to a decision.

Robin explained that Roland agrees to move ahead with promoting stackoverflow and a forum to preserve knowledge. Donat highlighted the importance of the difference between a discussion (should be on a forum) and questions and answers (could be on both).

Robin will draft a blog post used to announce this change to the community. Draft first to be shared with the community board. Also, the configuration (e-mail, categories, plugins etc) should first be finished on the new forum.
