This week a few updates from the eZ Community Board, about eZ Platform with Legacy and PhpStorm licenses. And also the opportunity to cast your votes for the eZ Awards.

Week 32 in Review

Updates from the eZ Community Board

We posted news on eZ Platform with Legacy. After a discussion between the Board, the community and eZ Engineering we came to a solution, bridging the gap between eZ Publish and eZ Platform. We can use your feedback, so read the full blog.

We also renewed our PhpStorm licenses, a PHP IDE which is provided by JetBrains. We still have licenses available, so if you are contributing to eZ Platform, head over to that blog and leave a comment.

Our next meeting will be in one or two weeks. Topics will be to follow up on actions regarding eZ Platform with Legacy: to contact volunteers, set up the repository, and get a working solution. And secondly, we will discuss how to improve our community resources, which include share.ez.no, and also the new developer hub, ezplatform.com. As you might have read in the meeting minutes, some changes lie ahead for these sites.

Cast your nominations for eZ Awards 2016

“We are less than two months away from eZ Conference 2016 and this means it's time to cast your vote for eZ Awards. Our very own People's Choice Awards, eZ Awards is our way of recognizing the great achievements made by members of the eZ Community this year—customers, partners and independent members alike.”

Don’t miss this opportunity! Let us know, who you think deserves a reward for his or her hard work in the community. Head over to the blog, or directly to the form to cast your vote.
