eZ Conference 2016: Beyond the Web

eZ Conference 2016: Beyond the Web was announced this week. It’s back in Paris, from October 5-6! “This year’s conference brings together experts in digital strategy, marketing and engineering to exchange ideas on how to deliver remarkable digital experiences. A two-day event, eZ Conference 2016 is centered around a theme especially fitting for the eZ Community: Beyond the Web.

Registration for the conference will be announced in the next few weeks. eZ Platform and eZ Studio Training will also be available for Developers on Oct 4.

And of course the eZ Awards will be part of the conference, recognizing some of our community members and their achievements. Save the date, and get the full details on our blog.

Security update PhpStorm

If you are using a license for PhpStorm, provided by the eZ Community, please check out a recent blog post by Jetbrains who announced a security update for several of their projects based on their IntelliJ platform.

300 members on Slack

Ivo Lukač, who started our Community Slack channel, announced this week that we passed 300 members on the platform. We continue to grow on this channel, where our community members share knowledge and help each other with daily questions. Members from the eZ Platform and eZ Engineering teams  are there to help as well.. So if you have not registered yet, please do so here.

Update: eZ Community Board

The eZ Community Board had its regular meeting this week, and we made progress on preparing to facilitate an eZ Platform - Legacy release, discussed in a blogpost by Ivo Lukač. Stay tuned for the eZ Community Board blog for our meeting minutes and an announcement regarding this release. We will be looking for your help, to contribute to and maintain this release.
