To all of you in the community, to your friends and family, Happy Holidays. And I wish you a healthy and happy New Year. We hope to see you in 2016, with lots of exciting development ahead of us for eZ Platform, events, and more.

Happy Holidays

In my ‘Week in eZ,’ I am covering news from community blogs, social media, the eZ Community on Slack, events, and more. If you have any news or events to share, please contact me, so I can include it in upcoming posts.

News

eZ Publish Show #26, Christmas Special

Ivo Lukač talked to Roland Benedetti in the eZ Publish Show #26 last Wednesday. They talked about the latest stable release of eZ Platform and eZ Studio. If you missed the show, you can still watch it on YouTube. Along with that, I recommend reading André Rømcke’s blog about the release.

Some weekend/holiday reading:

Social media

Netgen posted videos of eZ Summer Camp ‘15, including sessions such as getting started with eZ Platform development, extending eZ Platform, Solr search and more. Check out the blog, and enjoy the videos. Hat tip to Netgen for sharing these videos!

Douglas Hammond, regular visitor on our Slack channels (@wizhippo), posts on Twitter: “@eZSystems #ezplatform is looking good.  Miss the old admin though.  Can't wait for future releases.” Let us know what you think of eZ Platform!

Events

Netgen has announced the eZ Summer Camp 2016, be sure to save the date: August 31 - September 3, 2016. It will take place in Rovinj again, for more info, read the announcement.
