As it was previously announced, I had the opportunity to talk a bit about Concurrency & Scalability at the Forum PHP conference in Paris.

The conference was really nice and the venue was beautiful (Cité universitaire de Paris). In that occasion, I had the opportunity to meet awesome people like Rafael Dohms (author of DMS component library), Sebastien Marek or Stefan Koopmanschap (aka Skoop).

I attended to some really great talks like, among others, PHP in 2012 (by Rasmus Lerdorf), or Mastering PHP Data Structure 102 (by Patrick Allaert, also member of the eZ dev team).

About my talk, Concurrency & Scalability in PHP, it was pretty well received. The room was really crowded (I'd say ~140-150 people, but I might be wrong :)). You can find the slides on Slideshare (in french, sorry). Also, as a reminder to those who had the opportunity to attend my talk, it would be really kind if you'd rate it on Joind.in :-).

Some pictures, taken by Nicocan be found on Google+.

Cheers!
