Different templates for different sections. Frontpage layout, global layout and How?

I have 5 sections on the site.
Example: About company, products, partners, contacts.
I want to have each section had its own layout.
Is this possible? How can I do it?
Now I see that there are Frontpage layout and Global layout, and it all?

You can set in override.ini different override conditions for the pagelayout.tpl template (see

Since your different sections are all applied to content viewing, you can use as matching conditions the same matching conditions you normally use for content/view/full.tpl

Otoh when you talk about "frontpage layout" and "global layout", it seems you are thinking about the layout applied not to whole sections of content, but to specific pages, which are of type "frontpage" or similar - ie. using ezflow.

In general, you can customize eZ to have different layouts available for each type of content using the file zone.ini.append.php. But again, those layouts apply to single pages, not to entire sections of the site.
