Getting logged out

Thursday 12 September 2013 10:13:24 am - 2 replies

I have an extension for multiediting images. It's using rest api and everything works fine until I leave the multieditor page. Then I get logged out. I have tried both with the admin account and a normal user account.

The user permission for the modul is set to "all functions" and "no limitations" in the admin panel.

The module.php:

$Module = array( 'name' => 'Multiple image editor');
$ViewList = array();
$ViewList['multiedit'] = array(

'script' => 'multiedit.php',

 'functions' => array(  ),

 'default_navigation_part' => 'ezcontentnavigationpart',

 'params' => array ( 'GalleryID' ),

 );
$FunctionList = array();

Does anyone know if this is user permission problems or something else?

To my knowlegde the Rest API kind of logges you out, and uses "it's own user" to perform the task, so maybe my question then is; "How do I keep the user logged in when using the REST api?"

Hello

I am not sure I understand your setup.

From your code, I guess you are using ezp4 (or ezp5LS only), which means REST-API v1, not v2.

What I do not know is if the custom module/view are used to render a page which uses ajax code to call REST-API code, or if what you call rest-api is simply the view itself returing some json or xml...

As for rest-api not being aple to use the user session cookie to log him in, there is some code in the ezcontentstaging extension which should allow you to do that iirc. But in no case it should log you out...
