Multiple User Providers using LDAP bundle

Multiple User Providers using LDAP bundle

Saturday 13 September 2014 12:33:25 am - 1 reply

I'm trying to integrate a LDAP user provider on eZ 5.3 and I'm facing an authentication problem when the eZ Security Context reloads user from user provider.

When the user tries to login, he's successfully authenticated in a first time by the ldap provider, then eZ redirects to the homepage and the user is reloaded/refreshed. There I get a authentication failed (Bad Credentials).

Is it a problem with the new generated Token? Or the user class used?

Did someone managed to run a multiple user provider using LDAP ?

Here are the steps and config that I used:

1) BorisMorel LdapBundle installed https://github.com/BorisMorel/LdapBundle.

2) Ldap config and chain provider added to security.yml: providers: [ldap, ezpublish]

3) Interactive login listener created like on https://doc.ez.no/display/EZP/How+to+authenticate+a+user+with+multiple+user+providers

When the event is trigged a existing eZ user is loaded and assigned back to the event.

Note: LDAP bundle uses the default IMAG\LdapBundle\User\LdapUser user_class.

I'm trying to integrate a LDAP user provider on eZ 5.3.

When the user tries to login, the process does not pass by the authentification LDAP but it spends directly in the eZ Publish base authentification.

In security.yml providers, I added ldap config and chain provider :

providers:
        chain_provider:
            chain :
                providers: [ldap, ezpublish]
        ldap :
            id: actimage_ldap.security.user.provider
        ezpublish:
            id: ezpublish.security.user_provider
