Hello upeksha,

Not clear exactly what you want to do here but this sounds like it would require a lot of custom work.

Custom user module comes to mind, custom 'user account' datatype, custom templates, etc.

Perhaps if you explain what you are trying to do and why in much greater detail we can offer more helpful suggestions.

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Hello upeksha,

Here are a couple of projects which seem related to your request for 'additional login keys'.

I hope this helps!

Hello upeksha,

What you want is no simple task to be sure. This will take quite a bit of work.

I recommend building upon (not like) the existing 'user account' datatype and user password storage system (user module and classes). You will have to replace these internals usage with modified copies (renamed etc). You should study the ezuser functionality and implementation very closely as this is key to understanding how to integrate your solution successfully.

At the very least mirror the password hashing used for passwords already used in eZ Publish to ensure that your securely storing and accessing your pin data.

Cheers,

It doesn't sound that complicated to me (although not quite for the eZ Publish beginner). I would think it could be done with a custom login handler, as described by Thiago here:

Or I might be misunderstanding something?
