Runing the same xml export in two languages

Wednesday 22 August 2012 6:52:55 pm - 3 replies

I've been trying to perform a xml export in multiple languages with the ezxmlexport extension.

when i configure the export every day (the minimum duration possible), and run the command for the firts time in the french siteaccess:

 php runcronjobs.php -s fre ezxmlexport

it works , but it just don't for others sitaccess

 php runcronjobs.php -s eng ezxmlexport

the command line return is the same but more faster !! , and no new files are generated this time (even after deleting the first ones).

i ve been thinking that i shoud declare different exports for every language , but in this case , at the first execution all the exports are executed (only in the first siteaccess language ) , and we get the same problem after !!

the question is , is this possible ? if yes , how to do it ?

thank's !

I think you'll need to extend eZ XML Export to support this, by altering:

  • exportContentObjects() function in functions/functions.php
  • objectExportStart() method in classes/exporter/ezxmlexportexporter.php

to loop through the availableLanguages() array (in eZContentObject class).

Hello back,
do you know why the exports runs only once ? event after setting the recurrence value to once a day !

To force it to run every time, I believe the trick is to set the Only export to a specific value, greater than the number of objects, set recurrence to 0, but put a Start date well in the past, and an End Date well in the future.

I haven't set this up as a regular cronjob yet, so I can't comment on that aspect.
