Introduction

Everyone knows that a great product is so much more than just a satisfying checklist of features. eZ Publish, as a platform, is superior to most of the other open source CMS products in regards to features and technical flexibility, but what about the editors' experience?

What I like the most is that many of of these are just one template away - no need to rewrite or add module logic.

Great post and very valuable feedback, will definitely be taken into account! Especially the famous "delete" ux bug.

We can may be add some others to this list!

Very good suggestions! We discussed some of them during the unconf session dedicated to the (administration) interfaces, thanks again Vjeran happy.gif Emoticon

Adding a scroll-bar made the top and bottom scroll controls superfluous and I do hope we will get rid of them soon.

YUI class dropdown is the worst GUI ever integrated in eZ Publish.

The scrollbar is the last small helpfull piece of element which keep you from waiting 10 seconds each time you want to scoll to the last item.

By the way... The whole YUI dropdown is a real headache when you want to run automated functional tests. I hope that someday, eZ will go back and restore the real semantic select tag. sad.gif Emoticon
