For those who don't know, ezlupdate is a fancy CLI tool that helps you create or update translation files (*.ts) from the strings you have in an extension for instance. These translation files can then be used with Qt Linguist.

This article will describe how to get this useful tool on MacOSX.

Hello Jérôme and eZ Community!

Jérôme thank you for your blog post about how to get, build and install the latest version of ezlupdate on apple computers!

I just wanted to take a moment to offer an upcoming alternative to using to using 'MacPorts' to install qt and compile ezlupdate sources for apple users.

In the near future apple users will also be able to install using 'HomeBrew' instead to fetch, build and install qt and ezlupdate in one simple to use command.

Arnaud took a moment to share some additional details about this subject on eZpedia,

He even gave this blog post a positive mention and link as well.

I hope this helps others!
