As mentioned in the opening of this blog there has been some changes in eZ Engineering over the last year, and some are still ongoing. Today we’ll cover some technology choices we have dealt with and are currently evaluating, and a small outlook towards “eZ Platform” to give a picture of what we have in mind, parts of which will also benefit the upcoming eZ Publish Platform 5.3 release, and bigger parts for the 5.4 November release.

Hi André,

thanks for this detailed post (and for the winks). It's nice to get some perspective as to where eZ is going. If you ask me it looks like the right direction happy.gif Emoticon As always, we're eager to see all that happen.

I'm glad and happy to read eZ Systems consider and vision the innovation road !

I tried to convince since years TDD / BDD / continuous integration / deployment tools are the keys of the success & major considerations with eZ5 for many reasons (most wanted from industry, added value against competitors, attractive for the community...)

Probably means i can stop to argue and contribute a bit more happy.gif Emoticon
