Hello, in this post I will show how to perform a simple string search and replace within an eZ Publish template variable.

Many new users to eZ Publish incorrectly think there is no search and replace operator within the eZ Publish template language...

Hi Brookins, could you please add the tag 'tip' to your tag list? So people can also find the tip by the keyword url: http://share.ez.no/content/keyword/tip

And maybe it makes easy to create a 'tip of the day' feature in the future. Btw, nice post, I never used explode and implode as search and replace before.

Hello Thiago,

I have added the 'tip' tag to the blog post's tag list. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your praise. I hope it helps even more folks with this basic need.
