EZ5 Control panel bugs

Thursday 17 January 2013 3:16:04 pm - 6 replies

I have installed eZ Publish Community Project 2012.11, and found several bugs in the admin control panel.

- Checkboxes in the "Quick Settings" block are too long.

- Footer and paging buttons (in the "Sub items" area) are displayed incorrectly.

Please see the following screenshot:

My browser is Opera 12.

Any ideas how to fix this?

As for the button issue, this is most likely problem with your re-write rules. Please check if fonts placed in the font folder (<ezpublish_root>/(ezpublish_legacy)/design/admin/fonts/) can be loaded by your web browser.

Thank you Łukasz! I have changed the re-write rules and the problem with "paging buttons" has been solved. But the problems with footer and checkboxes (in the "Quick Settings" block) remain.

Hi Felix, I have tested latest version on Opera 12.12 and I don't see any design issues with footer, nor other design elements. Have tried simply clear browser cache and reload page?

Hi  Łukasz!

I tried to clear caches and tried to open EZ on other computer in Opera 12.12 browser, but without success. When you open "Dashboard" or "Setup" the footer displayed correctly. But if you open "Content structure", "Media library" or "User accounts" the problem with footer remain.

When I resize Opera window, the bug with footer disappear. But the problem with checkboxes in the "Quick settings" remain in all cases.

is your OS / browser font size set to bigger then normal?
And what OS are you running this on? (Looks like it is Win 7/Vista based on the right side border)

I use Windows 7 (standard installation without any font changes). These bugs appear on all computers with Opera browser. OS type does not matter. On Windows XP the same bugs (tested).
