fresh ezp5 install with ezdemo, some pages working, others missing all styling

Hi I just instlled the latest eZP5 from github. Everything is up and running, but in the frontend some pages do load with CSS and all, and others don't:

These Pages are working fine:

These are missing all styling:

  • (Homepage)

All folders below /var/www/ezpublish-community/ezpublish_legacy/var, design, extensions, settings are 777, same goes for /var/www/ezpublish-community/ezpublish/cache/ configs log

Cleared cache, also from command line, disabled/re-enabled ezdemo... Nothing.
Any idea what's wrong?

Hi. Did you add any custom FieldTypes (or datatypes as they were called in eZP4.x) to your failing ContentTypes? There's a notice about that here, and if that's indeed the problem, you need to have a look at how to handle those FieldTypes.

Your problem looks different, however, but you never know. The working URLs are all module URLs, and the failing ones are all slugs.

Thanks, Hein!

Slugs seem to be the problem: displays the homepage correctly, same with frontend editing at

So do you think it's a rewrite issue? Never had this before with ezp 4.x on the same server.

How is your matching set up in ezpublish.yml? match: URIElement: '1'?

Do you have any rogue routes defined?

If the problem is just styling then, maybe, you forgot to execute assetic:dump?

Check out "Link Assets" here:

In addition to the assetic:dump, also check out the rewrite rules page again, it was missing 5.1 / 2013.4 / git version info for some days because of a mistake in confluence use regarding versions.

You may want to run ezpublish_legacy/bin/php/updateniceurls.php
