Image Alias not working?

Image Alias not working?

Friday 22 March 2013 12:52:32 pm - 2 replies

Hello!,

i have installed ezpublish5 with ezwebin and i am using the legacy kernel to develop a project.

When i try to create a new image alias it will not display the images.

Checking in the admin interface (ini settings -> image.ini) looks like the AliasList only contains the "injected" aliases and there is no way to override it:

 [0] reference
[1] small
[2] tiny
[3] medium
[4] large
[5] rss
[6] campaign
[7] backgroundimage
[8] highlighted
[9] galleryfull
[10] contentgrid
[11] gallery
[12] imagefull
[13] multiuploadthumbnail

How can i add new alias? is there any documentation about this?

No matter if i add the new alias to the AliasList in the main ezpublish.yml file, it will not work. Do i have to run php ezpublish/console ezpublish:configure ezwebin admin every time i change the ezpublish.yml file?

Thank you

Hi Victor, welcome!

What are you developing your templates in, Twig or eZ's template language? Since your image aliases are injected, it sounds like you may be using Twig/Symfony

If you're developing them in Twig, there's a known issue in 2013.2 that's hopefully close to being resolved. You can read about it here: https://jira.ez.no/browse/EZP-20554

One last thing to check: make sure the ImageMagick path in the yml matches up with your Imagemagick file.
