IndexPage, DefaultPage, PathPrefix and friends in eZ 5.x

IndexPage, DefaultPage, PathPrefix and friends in eZ 5.x

Hi everybody,

I am starting a project from scratch in eZ Publish 5. I had a deep look at the article and sources kindly shared by Damien Pobel, and at the eZDemoBundle. I would like to implement the front office with as few eZ 4.x code as possible. I think that Damien's work on ezpublish-planet is a really good example of what I would like to achieve.

I began by not activating the legacy_mode for my front office siteaccess. The main problem that I have at the moment is that I cannot figure out how the IndexPage, DefaultPage and PathPrefix settings in eZ 4.x have been implemented in eZ 5. I went on confluence.ez.no, but that did not help me out. I do not think that a similar topic exists on share.ez.no, so this is my question : is this possible to set a PathPrefix and an IndexPage/DefaultPage in eZ 5, and how?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Elie

It isn't implemented in 5.x kenel yet, see: https://jira.ez.no/browse/EZP-20286

OK Andre, thank you for answering. I think that it's quite a shame though, as it means that I will need to activate the legacy mode for my front office siteaccess. I had a look at your explainations in the Jira ticket, but I do think that it's quite a lot of work and I cannot afford to spend the time I would want to on this task.

Regards,
Elie

Yes, it is indeed some work to get it right, and to make sure issues like this doesn't show up easily: http://share.ez.no/forums/ez-publ...hprefix-and-site-translation-problem
