Information collector Form

Information collector Form

Friday 02 May 2014 7:16:47 pm - 6 replies

Hi,

Is "Information collector" implemented with the new version of Synfony forms ?

I need to create a newsletter form to collect user's emails.

Thanks.

Hi

Nothing is implemented at eZ Publish level, but you can write your own controller with Symfony forms to do that.

Thank you Jérôme for your response.

Can I have an example to do it ?

You can have a look at the contact form in the DemoBundle. Symfony documentation is also useful blunk.gif Emoticon

Is there a risk if I use the legacy form in twig template ?

Hi

Have you noticed the excellent tutorial that has been published recently? It will certainly help!

Thank you Donat, it very helpfull but I finaly use the legacy form because I need the informationcollections service.

I tried to create my own controller calling the old API (ex : informationcollection.php) without success.
