Is there a way to use

http://doc.ez.no/eZ-Publish/Technical-manual/4.x/Reference/Modules/layout

under ez 5.1 in non legacy mode?

Hi Dirk

No, the layout module is not implemented in non legacy mode because it might not be useful any more since you decide from which layout your view template inherit.

But maybe you can describe your usecase please ?

Hello Jérôme,

you are right. In a native eZ Publish 5 system it do not make any sense to implement this module. I just asked because we are using it in eZ Publish 4 and I'm about to migrate our site, step by step. In the first step based on as much legacy stuff as possible, but to be prepared to develop new functions using symfony. So ok, I will do that part with eZP 5 stuff now.

Thank's for your reply.

Next question:

why is this not working if field is of type eztext (Text block)?

$query->criterion = new Criterion\LogicalAnd(
   array(
      new Criterion\ParentLocationId( 100 ),
      new Criterion\ContentTypeIdentifier( array( 'classname' ) ),
      new Criterion\Field( 'code', Criterion\Operator::LIKE, '%123%' )
   )
);

The same code is working if field is of type ezstring (Text line).

Can you please post somewhere the piece of code you're using ? Gist is a good option (and you can a your gist in your reply happy.gif Emoticon)
