Legacy Widgets from Symfony Services

Legacy Widgets from Symfony Services

Hi,

We have a lot of content created in ezPublish 4.7 that relies to old fashion Layouts+Widgets approach. So basically some of our pages contained 2-3 zones layouts, in each of them were some widgets assigned with some custom settings.

Right now we moved to ezPublish 5.1 with all the services so we try to omit calling legacy code to grab data. So basically what we need - is to be able to access somehow from Location we loaded using LocationService() to widgets that are assigned to our location from Publishing tool.

I've tried different ways like loadRelations() but still we have no access to those assigned to location widgets.

Hmm, I'm not sure I really understand what you're trying to do, but it clearly sounds related to ezflow / the Page fieldtype.

Did you check the documentation about that ?
