php exception after cache clear

php exception after cache clear

Sunday 17 February 2013 7:21:38 pm - 1 reply

Hi,

after running "php ezpublish/console cache:clear --env=dev" i become this error.

CRITICAL - Uncaught PHP Exception Twig_Error_Runtime: "An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Unsupported value (NULL)"blunk.gif Emoticon in "{% extends "eZDemoBundle::pagelayout.html.twig" %} {% block content %} {{ viewResult|raw }} {% endblock %}"." at /My/Document/Root/ezpublish-community/ezpublish/cache/dev/classes.php line 6017

I have no idea how to fix it.

Thanks for any help

Stefan

Stefan, here are the steps I would try, after clearing the cache one more time:

  • Temporarily replace the full view template for the page you're on with a simple string ('HI THERE' or something).
  • Do the same at the pagelayout level.
  • One of the above probably solved the problem. Then you can put pieces of that template back in to see where the problem might be.

The message is saying that a NULL value is being fed into a function that can't handle nulls - probably from a recent template addition.

Also remember that you need to bypass the browser cache, since symfony returns appropriate last-modified and etag values for successful runs (Shift-Command-R/Shift-Ctrl-R when refreshing)
