"/users" override in symfony but I want legacy

Hi folks!

I have a problem with the usergroup folder. I want to access fakeu.rl/Users to see all Usergroups in the frontend. I created the override tpl in ezpublish_legacy and all override settings but the template that is shown is from the eZDemoBundle. When I open the url as fakeu.rl/content/view/full/5 my template I created in ezpublish_legacy is displayed.

So somewhere deep in the eZ and Symfony structure there must be something that says, that when I try to access fakeu.rl/Users the eZDemoBundle pagelayout must be displayed.

But I can't find it anywhere. :'(

Does anyone have the same problem as me? And does he knows how to fix it?

Hi Tim,

I'm not sure if i have understand your question but here some suggestions:

- you have to care care of the eZ Role and Policies to display users informations in the Frontend. When you call  ../full/5 you have normaly access denied. Because of anonymous policies.

- you have always a fallback to legacy, when the route in symphony is not found. Try to make  (legacy_mode: false) and create the symphony route /Users. The rest is a  controller programming with locationId 5.

In the view you can extend the pagelayout.html.twig.

Thanks for your reply Ramzi!

My solution now is, that I made an override for the usergroup template in symfony, where I include my legacy template of usergroup.
