Hi,

How can we use the Limitations (and Permissions) in ez5? Is there any examples ?

Thanks,

Hakim

Hi Hakim,

What are you planning on doing? there are many examples in the integration tests, but none in the online doc.

Hi André,
I have an existing application running in ez4 with a lot of modules and I want to migrate this application to ez5.
In order for my new controllers to correctly check user rigths (without relying on the legacy system) I wanted to know how to manage this, what are best practices...
Thanks,
Hakim

Unfortunately custom permission rules is a bit cumbersome at the moment, could you flesh out what your exact needs are and I can check behind the scenes how it can be accomplished atm?

Feel free to send details on mail if you prefer.

Hi,

since i can't find any useful documentation about this topic i'm trying my luck in the forums blunk.gif Emoticon

What i need to do is a simple CSV Export of values stored in PersistentObjects in ez5. While that code is rather simple i can't find a way to do the following:

  1. Define a policy for "mymodule/csvexport" that can be added to user roles in admin backend
  2. in my controller check if the current user has access to that policy

Does anyone happen to have an example on how to do that or can at least lead me into the right direction?

thanks
