New share.ez.no feature suggestion: site share

New share.ez.no feature suggestion: site share

We're often posting and solving technical eZ Publish problems on share.ez.no.  How about an area where people can post their latest eZ Publish successes: site launches, cool features, upgrade, etc?  It would help to see what cool things we're all doing with eZ Publish.

Hi Peter,

Something like a 'Show Case' area? Maybe with categories like Site Showcase, Code examples etc?

We do have the blog's already, and I know people also share solutions there also. But I agree, putting the 'better' ones in a Show Case section might help to show what is possible with eZ.

I'll make sure to send a notification to some people to check on this idea. If we get consensus on it, it would be great to see if other community members around would be interested in building this.

Regards Robin

Hi Robin,

Yes, "Showcase" is a good name representation of the idea.  I don't see it as being a code share; we have areas for that already.

I'm thinking about a community version of this: http://ez.no/Customers/By-Industry/(industry)/1

It would take a screenshot and some description text to say what makes the site or feature interesting.

Hi Peter,

Sorry for the delay on this topic. I've always been a fan of a good show case, for example this one http://drupal.org/node/1630462.

I'll ping Nicolas on this, see how he feels about adding a section to the site here. If he is also interested, would you be willing to provide the first few (1 or 2) content items for this show case section?

Regards Robin

Hi Robin,

Sounds good.  I could certainly provide some example entries, and maybe pull in some others too.
