After eZupdate from 4.6 to 4.7, Treemenu in Backend is not working (caching problem)

After eZupdate from 4.6 to 4.7, Treemenu in Backend is not working (caching problem)

Just recently I have updated my eZpublish installation from version 4.6 to 4.7. When I was done with running all the necessary scripts, it all looked nice. Only the left content treemenu didn't work right. It showed completely wrong subtrees for some nodes. Then I started debugging a little bit and found out, that it was a cache problem.

  • At first: I turned off the caching in the contentstructure.ini (UseCache = disabled), but that was not enough
  • Secondly: I commented out some lines in the kernel/content/treemenu.php file
    • I commented out the complete if-clause from line 68 that begins with "if(isset($_SERVER['HTTP_IF_MODIFIED_SINCE'] )"
    • also I commented out the first 4 header-calls from line 257 onwards

After these changes in the kernel, the contenttreemenu worked as fine as it did before the upgrade. Did anyone have the same issue with his ez-installation? What else could I have done?

Cheers, Felix!
