ERROR UPLOAD FILE - Ver. Community Project 2014.1

Wednesday 24 September 2014 3:32:43 pm - 2 replies

Hi to all,

I'm using Community Project 2014.1, and I can't upload pdf file using "file" class. In my log I can see this error message:

[ Sep 24 2014 15:18:48 ] :Failed moving uploaded file /tmp/phpunvatR to destination var/ezwebin_site/storage/original/application/23d75113a3d1debf7b8b03b73122b364.pdf
[Sep 24 2014 15:18:48 ] eZBinaryFileType:Failed to store http-file: file.pdf

Can someone help me?

Thanks a lot

Hello Luca,

It sounds like you have a problem with file and directory permissions and ownership.

Remember that the var directory and it's child directories should be owned and grouped by the user and group used by the web server (step 1).

You also can run the ./bin/ script included in eZ Publish to set more open var directory file permissions.

More documentation and information on this subject can be found here:

I hope this helps...
