eZ 5 - admin panel

Thursday 29 November 2012 10:19:45 am - 4 replies

I installed eZ 5 and I have a general problem. I'm able to run actions from DemoBundle (like /helloWorldTwig), I'm also able to run things using eZ legacy. But how am I supposed to run admin site using Symfony controller? (index.php/index_dev.php) ?

Hello Tomasz,

index.php is for a production server (cache enable)

index_dev.php is for a dev server (cache disable, SF debug toolbar enable)

Hello Philippe

Thanks, I'm aware of it. My question is how to access admin panel (eZ backend) using one of symfony controllers (doesn't matter if prod or dev one).

admin is in legacy, so it's not run via Symfony controller in other way then as a fallback.

So you need legacy_mode set to true, and you need to make sure the siteaccess matches the admin siteacess in legacy. Whit existing legacy installation you can use the ezpublish:configure console command to generate valid yml config for it.
