HostUriMatchMapItems Issue

HostUriMatchMapItems Issue

Tuesday 15 January 2013 12:18:30 am - 2 replies

Hi all,
I'm trying to config multiple languages for one domain. I have the following in my site.ini.append.php:

MatchOrder=host_uri;host
HostMatchMapItems[]
#co
HostMatchMapItems[]=mydomain.co;co
HostMatchMapItems[]=www.mydomain.co;co
HostUriMatchMapItems[]
HostUriMatchMapItems[]=www.mydomain.co;eng;eng-co
HostUriMatchMapItems[]=www.mydomain.co;esl;esl-co
HostUriMatchMapItems[]=www.mydomain.co;ger;ger-co

When I hit a flag to change the content language, the URL goes to the root of the language instead of show the translated URL and translate the content.

The curious fact is that:
from www.mydomain.co to any domain (eng, esl, ger) works good
from any domain to www.mydomain.co also works good.
The problem is between the siteaccesse's eng, esl, ger...
Example not working:

from www.mydomain.co/esl/test to eng goes to www.mydomain.co/eng
but what is expected is www.mydomain.co/eng/test_in_eng

How to solve this?! ...

Thanks in advance,

João

Hi,

I had this issue few days ago, check the SiteLanguageList[] array in your site.ini.append.php.
Also check TranslationSA[] and LanguageSA[].

By the way, why do you mix Host and HostUri? Since HostUri can do what Host can, plus URI?
If you want to go to "co" when hitting mydomain.co, just add :

mydomain.co;;co

Except if this is precisely want you want to do blunk.gif Emoticon

Hi Nicolas,

Many thanks for the reply!

If the siteaccess has defined a language, in ContentObjectLocale, that doesn't have translations for the content, asked in the URL, it redirects to his root... I thought eZ use the next language in SiteLanguageList... but no...

Now I know! happy.gif Emoticon

Thanks again for the support!

João
